Remote Student Conduct FAQs

The Office of Student Conduct is currently operating remotely due to COVID-19 and the university’s transition to remote learning for the remainder of spring 2020. Our staff is still working and able to assist with your student conduct needs. You can reach us at and someone will respond to you within 3 business days. What happens with open conduct cases?

Meetings with students will now occur via Zoom. Your conduct administrator will provide you the information to access the Zoom meeting.

How can I complete my in-person sanctions (including meetings with Willie Bannister, Office of Health Promotion)?

All in-person sanctions will occur via Zoom. You will receive instructions in your outcome letter or you received an email with updated instructions on completing this sanction. Email the Office of Student Conduct at if you have any questions.

Remote Meeting Expectations:

Conduct meetings are expected to be confidential. It is expected that you approach this meeting in the same manner that you would an in-person meeting. You are expected to turn on the video and be in a private setting. For your safety and to preserve the confidentiality of these proceedings, the Office of Student Conduct/conduct administrators/sanction providers will not host any meetings while you are driving or located in a space that does not provide for a confidential environment. It is recommended that you use headphones with a microphone to minimize audio interference, but we understand this may not always be possible. Please let your conduct administrator or the Office of Student Conduct know if you are unable to participate in the meeting under these guidelines.

I need to access my disciplinary record. What should I do?

You can email and a staff member will be able to assist you within 3 business days.

I need the Office of Student Conduct to mail a letter to a 3rd party (ex. graduate school). What should I do?

You will need to fill out this form and email it to We are unable to mail letters but can email the information to the requesting party. This request will be addressed within 3-5 business days.

The office delivers programs and services in order to promote student safety and success, the pursuit of knowledge, respect for self and others, global citizenship, personal accountability and integrity, and ethical development.
