Peer Review Board

Congratulations to our 2017 graduating seniors:

Paige Burris, Jimmie Roberts, Taj Singh, and Hiren Suraiya

Thank you for your service and come back to visit often!

The Peer Review Board is an informal hearing body established by the Undergraduate Code of Conduct. All members of the Board are undergraduate students. A staff member from the Office of Student Conduct serves as a non-voting advisor to the Board.

As an informal hearing body the Board is empowered to receive reports of alleged violations of the Code, hold meetings with students accused of violating the Code, determine if a student accused of violating the Code is responsible for the alleged violation, and recommend sanctions to the Director of Student Conduct. Decisions of the Board can be appealed.

The Board meets every Wednesday from 4PM-6PM in DUC E507 to review cases referred by the Director of Student Conduct. The Board typically reviews reports of alleged misconduct for individual students who have not previously participated in the student conduct process. Most of the Board's cases are based on reports submitted by Residence Life staff about behavior observed in the residence halls. This board is advised by Victoria Chan-Frazier, Assistant Director of Student Conduct.
